Basic Function

Manages sales of the company's products and services to telcos, MVNOs, NEPs and Cable companies. Establishes effective communications with appropriate executives, managers and pre-sales team to ensure proper sensitivity to sales needs.
 

Specific Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager include the following:

1. Manages an assigned geographic sales area or product line to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives:
• Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.
• Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all company's products.
• Coordinate proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable software sales.

2. Establishes and manages effective programs and seminars to address the following issues:
• New account sales and growth to base.
• Sales of emerging products and multi-product sales.
• Pro-active competitive strategies and targeted sales campaigns.
• Proper use of sales support.
• Management of expenses of the area at a reasonable level.
• Business/financial issues on contracts

3. Performs sales activities on major accounts and negotiates sales price and discounts through the Head of Sales 

• Travel up to 50%
 

Educational Requirements • Bachelor's degree in technology or marketing or equivalent training in business or sales management.
