With over two decades of IT and telecommunications experience,
Mr. Kumar is credited with the ideation and commercial development of a number of patent pending wireless technologies and services.
The Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) strategy focuses the company in the significant emerging field of Intelligent Networks, Convergent Solutions, Mass Subscriber Customization, Wireless Roaming and Wireless OSS.
Prior to his work at XIUS, Mr. Kumar began his career with the Godrej Group of India, and last served as CEO of Godrej Telecom Ltd. – the telecom arm of the Godrej Group.
Mr. Kumar graduated from National Institute of Technology, Bhopal with a specialization in electrical engineering and received an MBA from XIMB.
Shridhar, a post graduate in Business Management, brings in over 25 years of multi dimensional experience to the XIUS Management team. In his current assignment he heads the HR organization for XIUS across various geographies.
In this role, Shridhar is responsible for Hiring Talent, Talent Development & Talent Management. The objective is to ensure the HR strategy is aligned to the current and future goals of the business and to the expectations of employees development needs. He is responsible for designing and developing HR initiatives with a focus on creating the Employer Brand and ensuring high motivation and morale levels in the organization. In short he works towards Attracting, Retaining and Developing Talent that makes XIUS a preferred employer.
Prior to XIUS, Shridhar has worked in some of the reputed global groups such as British Gas, Godrej and United Spirits. In these organizations, in addition to the HR function he held the responsibility for the admin /facilities and the IT organization. He has in the past successfully led a team towards the implementation of BaaN ERP. In his previous assignments he has been associated with the companies from the start up stage and has been part of the executive management teams that built and grew the organizations.
Shridhar has a cross functional and a multi industry experience (S/w, Financial Services & Telecom Manufacturing and Services). While he is enthusiastic and passionate about all that he is associated with, his corporate and personal successes are a result of his USP’s - communication, people management, organizing & planning and adaptability to changes around.
In his spare time, Shridhar catches up on reading and would also prefer to trek and listen to Indian music.
Sridhar Lanka is Vice President, Technology & Engineering at XIUS. He has about 16 years of experience in technology management in telecommunications, e-governance, manufacturing and e-commerce.
Identifying market segments, innovating and delivering solutions for those opportunities have been his expertise over the years. His broad geographical experience and regional insights drive in this endeavor.
Throughout his career in XIUS, Sridhar was instrumental in innovation, realization of ideas and commercialization of technology. Formal training Sridhar acquired (in his MBA days) on delivering value through application of technology drives these.
Sridhar joined XIUS in 2004 and was driving the solution architecture and consulting team in his previous role at XIUS.
Mr. Umakanta Mansingh joined as Head – Quality for XIUS in January 2011. The role encompasses strategic growth initiatives - Quality Assurance and Quality Control, corporate wide initiatives to build a sustainable organization and the corporate brand.
Umakanta has varied experience of more than 20 years in the Information Technology services industry. Starting his career as a software developer, he has a well rounded experience and has held important responsibilities in software development, project management and process improvement & Institutionalization of best practices, strategy formulation and prioritization, Quality planning for business adaptability.
Prior to joining XIUS, Umakanta was with Infotech Enterprises Ltd for 6 years, as Quality Head for one of the largest verticals – Engineering Services. He was responsible for Quality Management through multiple delivery units and nurturing multiple global customer relationships. Under his leadership, Quality/Process improvement programs had resulted in savings of many million dollars. He had consulted many national / international organizations on Quality Management and Business Excellence Model.
Umakanta is a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Lead Examiner- RBNQA equivalent of Malcolm Baldrige Business Model, CMMI Assessment Team Member, Certified ITIL professional, Certified Internal auditor for ISO 9001, 13485, AS9100, IRIS, ISO14001/18001 & ISO 27001 and a trained PMP & PCMM professional. He holds a Master Degree in Business Administration and a Post Graduate Diploma in Systems Management.
Manian brings 18+ years of global telecom industry experience to XIUS Management team. In his current role he heads the corporate and product Marketing organization.
As head of the Marketing department, Manian leads the corporate and solution outreach activities, Market Intelligence and Sales Operations. Besides monitoring and tracking sales activities and progress towards corporate targets, he also supports the Sales organization with financial analysis. Apart from the Marketing role, Manian also leads the solution team for the EMEA & APAC regions.
Before XIUS, Manian worked for TNS, VeriSign, Sun Microsystems, Bellsouth and Lucent Technologies contributing to a wide range of functions including Operations, Product Development, Solution Engineering and Product Management.
Manian holds a Bachelor Degree in Engineering from Madras University, Chennai and a Master Degree in Business Administration from Georgia State University, Atlanta.
Sandra brings to XIUS more than 15 years of experience in International Marketing, Business Development, Strategic Corporate Communication and Account Management. Having lived and traveled across different countries, she has gained multi-cultural and multi-lingual expertise that she puts into practice for achieving enhanced customer experience.
Sandra is posted in Latin America to manage customers in the region. Besides building strong long term customer relationship, she is also responsible for generating cross-selling opportunities and identifying new clients across different Spanish speaking markets.
Sandra’s earlier experience has extensively been in the fields of Information Technology and Telecommunication industry worldwide.
A Master in Communication, her ability to understand technical and commercial issues helps her to manage a client portfolio with revenue and key account management responsibility for Latin America.
With a strong team-work orientation, she has been able to work across teams all over the world in companies like Telelogic and IBM between others. Her passion is to work in a multi-cultural, fast paced team oriented and entrepreneurial environment, doing always what needs to be done and always doing the best.
With an experience of over 17 years, Anil Menghani heads Sales for Asia Pacific and Europe, Middle East and Africa regions. He is involved in selling XIUS products & services to mobile operators and financial institutions. In addition to managing existing clients, he is largely responsible for identifying new business opportunities. His commitment to standby customer concerns makes him customer favorite.
Prior to joining XIUS, Anil was working with GTL Ltd. as 'Head Sales - Operators & OEMs' for India. He also had the opportunity to roll out a new business vertical for the company. Anil has worked in leadership roles in organizations like D-Link & YOU Telecom apart from his professional stints in Sify, Siemens and CMC where he was involved in selling IT/Networking solutions & services to the Enterprise segment.
After graduating in Physics, Anil pursued Masters in Business Administration in Sales & Marketing. He also holds a Diploma in Computers & is a CCNA and certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
In addition to being a certified Radio Jockey, he also has a creative side to his life and has scripted & hosted many stage performances. He adds charm to the dance floor with his Salsa moves.
Derek brings almost 25 years of leadership and management experience in business and specifically within the mobile industry to XIUS. The last two decades have been focused on Sales, from the perspective of the mobile operator selling to subscribers as well as the perspective of selling mobile services and solutions to the mobile operator. Working both of these roles has provided Derek with unique insight and perspective as to what is required to enable success for the mobile operator. Derek has a breadth of knowledge of wireless technology and the wireless industry overall. He has been involved in operations planning and management within mobile operators and his sales experience has been focused at taking that experience and understanding to bring value to his customers by respecting their needs and requirements and providing solutions to meet them.
Derek also possesses and exercises his strong communication, team building, negotiation, relationship building and public speaking skills within and outside of the company. He has used these skills for the last 8+ years in a series of leadership positions as a volunteer for Boy Scouts of America. He is currently serving as a Commissioner for the Cathedral Gorge District in the Utah National Parks council where he has applied and taught leadership skills to the Boy Scouts in his area helping them improve their lives and capabilities to deal with challenges in life and prepare themselves to be successful productive adults. Derek has lived in a number of countries in Latin America over many years. These experiences, in addition to his ability to listen and understand, have enhanced his ability as a customer advocate. They have also helped him to maintain and develop long term relationships with his customers.
His interests lie within the mobile realm even in his private time as he describes himself as a wireless technophile and early adopter of all things new in the mobile arena.
Derek is a certified level 3 Motorola repair technician and Master Coach. He has studied Criminal Justice and worked in law enforcement until finding his way to the mobile industry where he has succeeded over the past eighteen years.
Jon Slates, Director at XIUS, oversees Facilities and Datacenter management for the US and LATAM regions. Additionally, he also manages the XIUS Production Platform Operations. He has been with XIUS for nearly 15 years holding key positions in Network Operations, O&M and client relations. Jon plays a key support role geared towards customer satisfaction and has been involved in maintaining uptime for large scale carriers like Telefonica, Verizon and Sprint besides other regional carriers in the US.
Jon has had versatile experience in manufacturing and R&D before joining XIUS. He spent 13 years owning and managing a transportation business that supported multiple customers, vendors and employees.
